More pictures from our walk on Good Friday. About 15 km
from the town where I live, there is a nature reserve area, which
includes this old mill (looked after by the local history society).
A conflict of interests (my brother and his dog).
Okay – I suppose it could also be called:
Waiting for the photographer to catch up!
Hepatica (Liverleaf) in the meadow behind the mill.

A great place..........The first image is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI finally get to see your brother and his little dog!! Did you get together for Easter? How is he doing now, has he quit his blog? The mill picture could be on the front of a greeting card.
ReplyDeleteThe first shot is lovely but I love the last one showing the mill in its environment. I can imagine the sound of rushing water getting stronger as I approach. Hope you had a great day with your brother.
ReplyDeletebeautiful place
ReplyDeletethe top shot is wonderful
all the foam from the water
and the wonderful light
Isn't it wonderful to be outside again now that it's Spring? I love the rushing water by the red mill.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place!
ReplyDeleteMy Ruby.
Neat. I love the old mill...and the landscape behind the mill is so pristine and a piece of serenity.
ReplyDeleteHere's my link: My Ruby Tuesday Do stop by if you get a chance.
I like the way the water flows. Guess it is the influence of a water engineer.
ReplyDeletei have many many shots of my husband Waiting for the Photographer to catch up. this shot made me smile. we photographers get caught up in the snapping moments and forget the people that are with us. hubby stands with his hands behind his back. i should do a post on his waiting, i have several good shots of him doing that. beautiful mill
