Ducklings on the beach

Being out at my dad’s old place yesterday, I went for a walk down to the lake in the afternoon. Not too far away from the human families enjoying a day at the beach, I found a family of mallards doing the same thing…

They got a little bit nervous as I approached, so made a unanimous decision to go for a swim.

Getting tired of all this cleaning… I think I’ll go back up on the beach and have a nap. That human doesn’t seem so dangerous after all…
