Well, here is the fence post, and there was your Home post! Strange how they blinked and changed like that for a minute. We both have fences today! I love the daisies and the sweet little flower growing in the fence. They seem just the opposite of the big iron fence that looks like the fence of a fortress. And this is not just a plain old fence post, you have lots of stuff here: the flower, the little trailer, and a MYSTERY!!! Did you do it on purpose, did you see it? Behind the iron fence looks to be a tiny iron CAR!!!! What is it??
The "tiny car" is an automatic lawn mower, and yes I did do it on purpose, i.e. I was aware of it and tried to get in a good position to include it in the photo when I took the shot.
glad you added the reply to ginny, it doesn't look like a lawn mower.. to cool for words. that first fence with the flowers is my favorite, but i really like ALL of these... and that little camper type thingy i sure would like to see the INSIDE... could you ask for a viewing?
No, I can't... Besides the fence and the barbed wire there was also a gate with a lock, and security signs :) It's in a workplace beside the railway, I think the area is used for service and repair of railway-related stuff.
Nice interpretation of the fence topic. I like the angle you got on the third picture. It gives the shot movement. The blossoms in the last one are just delightful.
You found a good variety of fences, Monica and I really like how you photographed them from different angles and perspectives. Your FSO posts are always impressive!
I love the forth shot. and after reading the comments above I went to look for the lawn mower. :) and liked the shot even more. the fence is so substantial there is great promise of what lies beyond.

ReplyDeleteAnd there I was thinkinbg it was a modernistic sculpture of a frog!
DeleteHaha. Maybe it was I who was to hasty to draw clonclusions - it wasn't actually moving/mowing just then!

The people inside might need protecting. These days, it is not safe to sleep in caravans anymore.
