From an outdoors modern art exhibition in the Open Air Museum park. (A more suitable title this summer might have been “never was there any shelter from the rain”.)
i love love love it!!! really i do... fantastic, like they took my mothers favorite table cloth and made it into an umbrella. no shelter from rain, but i am sure it would provide dappled sunlight and it is sooo beautiful that could be it's only use. i want it.
stunning! Like Sandra, my mother had a crocheted tablecloth. (that she had done herself) Unfortunately, after our last move, I never found it again. :( Its pattern was pineapples; I didn't know till just in recent years that pineapples are a symbol for hospitality.
O how lovely! It may be impractical but the idea certain enchants the eye!
ReplyDeleteOh, I do agree with Gemma!! Impractical, but enchanting indeed ! Delightful shadow shots for the day!! Enjoy your weekend!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! You said "never any shelter from the rain" but at least you had blue skies for that photo!
ReplyDeleteYes there have been some sunny days in between the rainy ones ;)
DeleteBeautiful photo. A quite interesting umbrella, very pretty but as the others have said, impractical.
ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday!
