Sometimes after a hot day I go for a stroll around the old cemetery nearby where I live. Ooops… Seems I disturbed the whole colony of wild rabbits in the middle of their supper!
* “Watership Down” is the title of a novel by Richard Adams, featuring a group of (anthropomorphised) rabbits escaping the destruction of their warren and seeking a place to establish a new home.
What a cute mosaic, the bunnies are adorable! Have a happy week!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED the book Watership Down! Your rabbit images are so delightful. I too love photographing them and they all seem to have such great little personalities~
ReplyDeleteA cute group of bunnies and I like the shot of the one galloping away.
ReplyDeleteWe have so many bunnies living wild here (domestic bunnies, abandoned by owners) that they are a constant topic of conversation and frustration. They are cute, but they eat and reproduce a lot!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome collage, I would have never have thought one like of it. You know how I LOVE Watership down. My favorite is the top right one. Saying that, top left would have to be General Woundwort.
ReplyDeleteGood to see so many. They are destructive blighters but very good to see.
ReplyDeleteso cute so sweet, i would love to see this many rabbits. i like the one that is getting it in lower left. and the second in from the top... he is a beauty
ReplyDeleteOh how wonderful! I see rabbits in the scrub brush before the beach across the street but not in such number. I am reading a book called A Naturalists Diary by the author of Watership Down. It's very good.
ReplyDeleteI smiled when I read your first reference to Watership Down. What a good book that is. Your bunnies look like they could star in the movie!
ReplyDeleteBunnies is an animal I have a love hate relationship with. On one hand they are rather cute but not when they eat my plants. Valerie
ReplyDeleteHi there,
ReplyDeleteI'm visiting for Mosaic Monday.
I have bunnies everywhere up in the mountains. They do seem to show up at certain times of the year. I love watch them. Right now we had 3 different families of Red Fox visiting.
I'd love to have you pop in for a visit when you have a moment.
Have a lovely day,
Steph ♥
Beautiful series of shots! Thanks for the visit!
