Sometimes in the morning it’s just hard to get out of bed!
Did you know that a lion spends about 20 hours a day just sleeping?
In one of the ladies’ loos at the zoo (perhaps in the gents’ as well
– that I wouldn’t know), they keep playing the song:
♫ In the jungle, the mighty jungle, the lion sleeps tonight…♫
Haven’t been able to get it out of my head since my visit!!!

ReplyDeletemr and mrs, so very very beautiful. i love her face all smushy smushy with sleep. did not know they slept that much, maybe that is why our Baby girl sleeps 20 hours a day, she is part ridegback hound and they are called lion dogs.
ReplyDelete20 hours!!!! Well, I had heard they sleep a lot, but that only leaves four hours awake! This one looks so content and peaceful!! Even with a camera in his face!
