Yes, I’m being lazy this week and submitting the same collage for both Mosaic Monday and Ruby Tuesday. It’s another loom (and shuttle) from the Textile Museum. If you want to see more of my pictures from there, click on the Textile Museum label below this post.
wonderful and now i know how they make plaids. i would really like to visit that museum
ReplyDeleteThat's interesting - the town of Keighley where that was made is about 7 miles up the valley from Saltaire. This area of Yorkshire was the centre of the woollen industry so it's not surprising they made the machinery here too.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely. What great fabric. And the loom itself is elegant.
ReplyDeleteI lived in Borås for 15 years and never visited the textilke museum....... A lovely mosaic. Interesting.
ReplyDeleteI love this loom and the striped fabric. It is worthy of two days posts at least!!
ReplyDeleteAs I said before, I never get tired of your photos of the textile museum. :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot. Happy RT!
