  1. Been there, done that!!! The icy snowmelt off the mountainside, rushing across the riverbed...it makes for a great cooler.

  5. this is a great find, your eyes did good for you and for us. i love green glass and have for sure never seen it frozen in ice.

  6. Good catch!!! It almost looks like a frozen gem. I bet someone finished drinking and just threw it in there. Which brings me to littering. I'm thinking that you don't have much of a problem with it there. It strikes me as being extremly clean and artistic. Am I right? You might want to take some pictures and do a post about it sometime?

  7. Ginny, I wish you were right... Unfortunately, you are not. With the camera, one focuses on the bits that one wants to see. And editing gives even further possiblity to cut out the bits one does not want to show...

  9. 2sweet, no doubt (sorry to say) the bottle was thrown in the river further up and just happened to get hindered from going down the waterfall because there was already some ice or other obstacle. And then around it, the water froze some more...
