For Watery Wednesday
I borrowed the post title – Whisper to the Wild Water -
from a song/album by Maire (Moya) Brennan:
… … …
Around, around
Around I turn
Around I turn
In time
I heard Your name
Whisper to the wild water
I’ll be strong
I will survive
… … …
This is just a very small waterfall…
Still, standing close to it, the other sounds of the city
are drowned by the roar of the water.
Gorgeous....and all amidst the beautiful Autumn foliage too. Perfection.

Do stop by if you can find time.
Happy Wednesday.
Lovely images......up there with the best.
ReplyDeleteIf you whisper to the water, will it whisper back to you? :-)
ReplyDeleteWATER
Water in a drop of rain,
Water swirling down the drain;
Water clinging to the trees,
Water filling up the seas;
Water frozen, water free,
Water is the stuff for me!

i like the way the leaves hang down from the top of the photo in the last one. yet another fantastic spot for photo shoot. I love your town, keep snapping
ReplyDeleteWOW! The water truly DOES look wild!
ReplyDeleteYou have captured it wonderfully! The first picture, the wildness of it, everything so sharp! I can almost hear it now, with Clannad music in the background, but drowned out by the water. I have Moya's first album.
ReplyDeleteLove your capture of the wild water! and I'm glad I'm not in it:):)
