I rarely comment on this blog even though I do follow it. I am moved to comment this morning by Emille's statement about the first photo. Every picture that any one of us takes has room for improvement but photographically your first photo ticks many boxes. Not least of these is that it is aesthetically pleasing. It also has the fence leading the eye into the centre of the picture (classical correctness). And it has that tiny touch of contrasting colour to bring one's eye in to see detail. Actually I think it's not just a lovely photo but I think it's a good one too.
Both these photos are so so beautiful...the reflections in the top photo and then the charge of the gulls when food arrives!!
