  2. Pretty flower. Thanks for dropping by my blog. You're right Almshouse is quite an old fashioned word! They're really just apartments for old people now, although the buildings themselves are still called St John's Almshouses.

    Talking about planting, my friend planted an avocado seed, but it turned out to be a mickey mouse plant.

    My growing from seed did not succeed.
